Turn SOL into wSOL, or wSOL back into SOL, straight from your wallet
Free. You only pay the Solana network fee. The tool never asks for a private key — your wallet signs every transaction.
SOL is Solana's native coin, but most Solana programs work with tokens that follow the SPL token standard. Wrapped SOL (wSOL) is SOL held inside a token account, so it can be handled like any other SPL token. One wSOL is always backed by exactly one SOL.
Most wallets and swap apps wrap and unwrap SOL for you in the background. You need to do it by hand when a program or pool asks for wSOL directly, or when a swap left wSOL in your wallet and you want it back as plain SOL.
Wrapping creates a wSOL token account for your wallet if you do not have one yet, moves the SOL you choose into it, and marks that SOL as wSOL. Creating the account locks about 0.002 SOL as rent; you get it back when you unwrap.
Unwrapping closes the wSOL account. Everything in it — your wSOL and the rent — returns to your wallet as SOL in the same transaction.
The tool is free. Each wrap or unwrap is one Solana transaction, so you pay the network fee plus a small priority fee — a fraction of a cent. The 0.002 SOL account rent is not a fee: it comes back when you unwrap.
Swaps and trading bots sometimes leave a wSOL balance behind when a transaction ends without closing the account. It shows up as a separate token called Wrapped SOL. Unwrapping it here turns it back into spendable SOL.
Yes. One wSOL is one SOL held in a token account. Unwrapping always gives back the same amount of SOL.
This tool unwraps the whole balance at once, because unwrapping closes the wSOL account. If you want to keep some wSOL, unwrap everything and wrap the amount you need again.
About 0.003 SOL stays in your wallet to pay the network fee and the rent for the wSOL account. Use the Max button to wrap everything above that.
No. You connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, and your wallet asks you to approve each transaction. The tool never sees your key.
