How to Stream on Pump.fun
Pump.fun lets a coin's creator go live on the coin page. You can stream from the browser with a webcam, from OBS with an RTMP key, or from the mobile app. All three start from the same place: the page of a coin you created.
No coin yet? Create one first, then come back.
Stream from the browser (webcam)
- 1Create your coin first. A Pump.fun stream lives on a coin page, and you can only start one on a coin you created.
- 2Open your coin's page on pump.fun while signed in with the creator account.
- 3Click Start livestream and accept the terms and the livestream moderation policy.
- 4Allow camera and microphone access in the browser. The stream goes live on the coin page within seconds.
Stream from OBS (RTMP)
Use OBS when you want to share your screen, show charts, or add overlays.
- 1On your coin page, click Start livestream and choose the RTMP option (on mobile: tap the stream screen, then Generate RTMP Credentials).
- 2Copy the RTMP URL and the stream key. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it can stream to your coin.
- 3In OBS, open Settings → Stream, set Service to Custom, paste the URL into Server and the key into Stream Key.
- 4In Settings → Output, set the video bitrate to about 4,000–6,000 kbps if your upload allows it, and the keyframe interval to 2 seconds.
- 5Click Start Streaming in OBS. The stream appears on the coin page after a short delay.
| OBS setting | Suggested value |
|---|---|
| Service | Custom |
| Server / Stream Key | From Pump.fun's RTMP credentials |
| Resolution | 1280×720 or 1920×1080 |
| Frame rate | 30 fps |
| Video bitrate | 4,000–6,000 kbps (lower on slow uploads) |
| Keyframe interval | 2 seconds |
Stream from the mobile app
- 1Create your coin in the Pump.fun app (or on the web with the same account).
- 2Open your coin's page in the app and tap Start Livestream.
- 3Stream straight from the phone camera, or tap the stream screen and choose Generate RTMP Credentials to stream from OBS or another encoder.
When the stream does not work
No Start livestream button
You are not on a coin you created, or not signed in as its creator. Streaming has also been rolled out gradually, so some accounts get it later.
OBS says it is live, the page shows nothing
Wait 30–60 seconds. Then re-check the URL and key for stray spaces; a copied space is the most common cause. If it still fails, generate new credentials.
Stream keeps buffering
Your bitrate is higher than your upload can hold. Drop to 720p at 30 fps and about 3,000–4,000 kbps, and use a wired connection.
Stream was cut off
Pump.fun moderates livestreams. Content that breaks its moderation policy can be ended and the coin restricted. Read the policy before you go live.
Make the stream count
People watching a fresh coin's stream are deciding whether to buy, and the first thing many of them do is check the launch. If you bought a big share in the launch block, a bundle checker shows it in seconds, so say it on stream before someone else does.
Show what you would want to see: who you are, why the coin exists, and what you hold. Planning the launch itself? See the Pump.fun launch guide.
Launching the coin you will stream?
SolBundler creates the coin on Pump.fun and buys it from 20+ of your own wallets in the same block, so snipers do not get the first buys. Free to sign up; 1% on trades.

Who can stream on Pump.fun?
The creator of a coin, on that coin's page. You need a Pump.fun account, a coin you launched, and to accept the livestream terms and moderation policy. Access has been rolled out gradually, so the button may not appear for every account.
Can I stream on Pump.fun with OBS?
Yes. Choose the RTMP option when you start a livestream (on mobile, Generate RTMP Credentials), then paste the URL and stream key into OBS under Settings → Stream with Service set to Custom.
Can I stream a pre-recorded video?
Technically yes: OBS can play a video file into the RTMP stream. Viewers expect a live creator, though, so be upfront that it is recorded and stay active in the coin's chat.
Why stream my coin?
A live creator answering questions is one of the few signals buyers trust on a fresh coin. Streams also give the coin page something to watch while people decide.
Do I need to buy my own coin to stream?
No. You need to be the coin's creator. Whether and how much you buy at launch is a separate decision; buyers can see it on-chain either way.
